5 Things To Like This Week

Food of the future.

1.  Quest Bar--chocolate chip cookie dough flavor.  This protein bar (20 grams) is fabulous.  I think it is much better than any I've talked about before (Balance bars, for example).  It is low in sugar(only 1 gram!!), which is nice, and it tastes just like chocolate chip cookie dough.  My work-out partner, J, introduced me to these and I'm glad she did!  You can order them online or get them at GNC.

I'm so excited to get this!!!  *squeeeeeal!*

2.  Winning!  You know how you can "like" a post to be entered to win a prize?  Well, I kinda didn't believe that you could win.  I mean, I do it all the time and never win anything.  Until last week!!  I liked the post to win a free tea infuser from Flourish and Thrive on the Facebook page "I Love Herbal Tea" and I won a tea infuser!  I should get the infuser soon and I'll tell you how I like it!

I can't help but smile when I see this!

3.  Daffodils!!!  Daffodils are my favorite flower.  I saw the first ones of Spring in Safeway the other day.  Jeff was with me and he bought me 20 of them!  I have some in my kitchen, in my bathroom, and on my desk at work.  They are so cheery and remind me that Spring is right around the corner, (even if we got a ton of snow last night).



4.  ZZ Ward.  I love this woman's bluesy, rock voice.  I listen to a lot of adult alternative and she keeps popping up.  I really like her song "365 Days".  "Don't tell lies in heaven or an angel might get mean."  Nice.

That chick knows all about Spring "break".  Huh.  Huh.  Huh.

5.  Spring Break!  I'm not going anywhere, but all the kids that come to the library (where I work) are gone for the entire week.  Although I love working at the university, it can be pretty hectic.  It's nice to have some time to breathe and finish up some projects without interruptions every 2 seconds!
