This is making me hungry. |
1.
Adventures. On Sunday, my boyfriend and I went on an adventure to a tiny town about 10 miles away from Spearfish. It was noon and we were starving! We looked EVERYWHERE for a place to eat and literally no coffee shops or restaurants were open. It was weird. Anyway, we drove around and were about to give up when we saw a truck stop! I had a good feeling about some good ol' greasy, yummy, home-cooked food. And you know what? We found some. We are both trying to eat healthier, but we had to have one cheat meal this week and Trucker Food, it was! Ha! Better than McDonald's, I think!

2.
Amaretto Coffee. I've fallen in love with amaretto flavored things lately. Which is weird because I hate cherry flavored anything. I think it's the mix of almond and cherry that gets me. I have some fabulous coffee that I've been brewing in the morning--and it is divine!

3.
Natural Shampoo. Baking soda + water. That's it. Get all those harsh chemicals and sulfates out of there!

Zevia Ginger Root Beer. I used to crave diet soda. A lot. I have now completely cut out all artificial sugars and most all refined sugar out of my diet. I do still consume products with stevia, which is a leaf--like tea! If ginger ale and root beer got together and had a delicious love child, this is what it would taste like. Spicy and sweet!

5.
Baby Carrots. I love these things. They satisfy my need for a crunchy snack. Plus, they can be sweet or savory depending on how I munch 'em. I find them to be sweet when I eat them with no dip and then savory when I have them with something like, say, hummus. Magic? Yes!
