5 Things To Like This Week

I'm gonna be so warm this winter!!

1.  Lieske Designs.  I love buying local!  I was so excited to see this scarf, boot cuffs, and headband set pop up in one of my local classified groups on Facebook.  It was such a good deal that I snagged it up right away!  I got all three in the light, cream colored yarn and I love them!  They were all handmade and beautiful!  You can LIKE Lieske Designs on Facebook HERE!

 

2.  Hit and Run.  This movie was surprisingly good!  Bradley Cooper in dreads!  Dude, this movie was hilarious!  It had comedy and car chases and a killer soundtrack.  It's new to Netflix (if you're into that sort of thing).  It was a lovely date night movie!  We were both cracking up!

3.  Scarves!!!!  Today was the first day I got to wear a scarf!  It was pretty brisk on my walk to work today, so I decided to wear one.  But then it hit about 90 degrees in the afternoon . . . so I didn't wear it for long.  But scarf weather, it's a comin'!

If I saw this machine I would faint.

4.  Those claw thingies that have stuffed animals in them that are for children, but for some reason I cannot resist them, especially when they contain a smiling, yellow Minion from "Despicable Me" that I have wanted for a very long time (and tried unsuccessfully to win on several different occasions at other claw thingy machines).  So tonight, I was at Walmart-hell, right?  I was on a mission not to purchase a single thing.  This mission was aborted just as my friend D and I were exiting and I spied that Minion stuffed figure through the glass in the best spot EVER!  My eyes glazed over and I just couldn't resist.  Nonetheless, about a half hour and over $5 later (I'm not going to tell you how much I actually spent because it was not my best moment) I left without a my prized Minion.  I did win this stupid pink Yo Gaba Gaba thing that I had to move to get to the Minion.  I gave that to D for waiting for me and witnessing several of my near freak-outs.  Dang.  Someday MINION, YOU WILL BE MINE!!!!

5.  My boyfriend's band is back together.  They didn't break up or anything.  They were just on a break.  har har.  They took a short break because one of the members went away to a bass music camp for a bit.  Anyway, Outer Space Real Estate played their first show in two months last Friday night and they FUNKED it up!  When boyfriend is happy, Nik is happy!
