5 Things To Like This Week

No.  It's not just about the pot.
1.  Amsterdam.  I want to live there for a year or so.  Just learn Dutch, throw all my stuff into a storage unit and go live in Amsterdam for a year . . . sounds good to me.  This country seems so chill and relaxing and quirky.  Just right!  Aaah, a girl can dream, right?

Quit telling me what to do.
2.  I quit smoking 6 days ago.  So there's that.  I haven't had on yet.  I moved, worked two jobs in the process, and it's finals week at the academic library where I work.  If I can do this without smoking . . . I can do anything.

Not that kind of herb.
3.  I'm planning an herb garden and flower beds!  I just moved into a new place that has a sweet little yard and some growing space!  I can't wait to plant some flowers and herbs!!!!

Shot through the heart and you're to blame.  You give perfume a new name.
4.  Avon.  I love Avon!  I just ordered some lotion called "Unplugged" (John Bon Jovi is promoting it in the catalog).  Anyway, here's the description:  "A lyrical ballad resonating with bright citrus notes, sensual plum, voluptuous black dahlia and wisps of captivating woods."  I love scented lotions almost more than perfume.  Plus, I love when a special someone makes me giggle when he opens and closes the cap whilst singing Bon Jovi lyrics!

Dank u.  (Ya.  That's Dutch.)
5.  My Momma and my friends.  It's almost Mother's Day (5/12)!  Anyway, my mom and my friends helped me move this weekend and I really couldn't have done it without them!  My Mom said that the next time I move she is going to hire movers for me.  I am totally keeping her to her word on that.  Moving sucks, but it's better when people you love are helping.

Love ya,
Nik

You should totally move to Amsterdam. Europe rocks. I would come visit you for sure.

I need pictures of your new place! And your yard. Pretty please?!
