Looking back on FEBRUARY:
People Don't Change . . . They Grow
Ah . . .Valentine's Day. What can I say? When I am in a relationship, I feel obligated to profess my devotion. When I am Single, it's just another excuse to get hammered or go to bed early.
You know, a part of me used to think that people don't change, but after this month . . . I think they do. Maybe just a little bit. Perhaps it's not change, it's growth. And seeing someone that I love growing reminded me how important it is to live my life in the present moment. So often I let my thoughts of "what will happen tomorrow?" or "damn, it was so annoying when you did that" dictate my current state of being.
With that said, spending time with you again was wonderful and I'd do everything all over again . . .
in a heartbeat.
in a heartbeat.
"I don't shine if you don't shine."
The following cliches are true:
"If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
"Think before you speak."
That is all. It was a short month.
Sincerely,
Nik
