5 Things To Like This Week

It doesn't hurt that, Waylon Lewis, the founder of EJ, is totes adorbs.
1.  Elephant Journal Online.  This is an online wellness site.  I love the articles.  You can read 3 free everyday.  You can also (like me) pay $13 for the whole year and get unlimited access to all of the articles.  This is a pretty brilliant way of hiring and paying quality writers.  ;-)

Mine are purple, of course.
2.  Bluetooth headphones.  So, the headphone jack on my phone broke . . . ugh.  Anyway, the gal at the Verizon store had a genius idea to just purchase some wireless headphones.  They were pretty expensive, so I had to put that little purchase on hold.  I was telling my Mom about this and she went ahead and ordered me a pair from amazon.  I LOVE THEM!  The sound is so great and I don't have to worry about the cord.

O.M.G. this is soooo amazing.
3.  Quinoa.  This is a super grain!  Plus, it packs a ton of protein.  Here is how I prepared mine:  Cook the quinoa in a rice cooker + 2 cloves fresh garlic, diced (use same instructions for cooking rice), handful of cherry tomatoes, handful of cubed fresh mozzarella, sliced green onions, a few basil leaves, 1tsp salad vinegar, 1tsp extra virgin olive oil.  Mix.  Enjoy!

This show is worth a few watchies . . . I laugh.  I cry.
4.  "How I Met Your Mother".  I just finished this series on Netflix.  Um.  Bawling.  My favorite thing was when Ted said:  "But love doesn't make sense.  You can't logic your way into or out of it. Love is totally nonsensical.  But we have to keep doing it, or else we're lost and love is dead and humanity should just pack it in.  Because love is the best thing we do."  Aaaaah.  Heck yeah, Ted.  Heck, yeah.

They are good in cereal too!  I love these cute, little things.

5.  Blueberries.  Blueberries are superfoods!  They keep that vibe high!  Plus they are delicious in smoothies, on their own, or in  . . . wait for it . . . pancakes!

Nik
