5 Things To Like This Week

The cheesy-ness of this picture amazes me.  Really.

1.  This hat!  My work study student A, made me this cool hat!  Yes.  She MADE it!  It is the perfect colors and matches my home-made purple scarf too.  She made it for me for National Boss's Day.  I'm so lucky to be her boss!

2.  "Seven Mile Island" by Jason Isbell.  I am in love with this song.  It's kinda depressing, but that's Isbell and I still love it.  There is something so Southern and relaxing about his voice.  I seriously listen to him daily--usually at the end of the day.  A little "Seven Mile Island" followed by "The Chicago Prominade".  Oh, Jason Isbell . . . so very cool.

tea.  tea.  tea.  tea. 

3.  Nolan's art!  My friend Nolan paints the coolest art!  I was talking with him one day and asked him to paint me something.  I told him I liked tea and this is what he painted!!  It is just so personalized and awesome!  I love his FB page description, ""Cheap paintings neat paintings".  Please check out his artwork and "Like" his Facebook page at nolan art.

4.  My bath tub.  Uh.  Seriously love this thing.  I've moved around A LOT.  This is officially my favorite bathtub of all of the moves.  It is deep, it has a nice slant at the neck, and it rocks.  I spend a lot of time in this tub with books.  Good times.

This is a random one I found.  But the one I saw was cool too.

5.  Sunrises.  I walk to work around 7am every morning.  This morning I saw a beautiful Fall sunrise.  Sunsets are cool and all . . . but you gotta be up early to catch those pretty sunrise colors!
