5 Things to Like This Week

Best thing outta Utah in a long-ass time.
1.  Wasatch Apricot Hefeweizen.  This is my new Summer beer!  I've only had it from the tap (which is the best way to have beer) and it is best very, very cold.  At first, I thought it was going to be really sweet, but it is not at all.  The apricot is nice and subtle and the beer itself is nice and light.  It is very refreshing!  If you like Hefs, I'd suggest giving it a try!

You can find me at a diner near you.
2.  Sierra Misty Mint herbal tea.  I found this little gem at a local restaurant!  I loved it so much that I put the empty foil tea bag in my purse to "google" later.  This tea is actually sold by a restaurant distributor called Farmer Brothers.  I think you can order it online, HERE, but I am unsure of the minimum amount.  Anyway, it is very minty, with peppermint, spearmint, rosehips, lemon peel and hibiscus flowers.  It is delicious!

Oh yes.  This just happened.  Sorry SD.
3.  Gifts from Montana!  My best friend from Bozeman, MT sent me an awesome gift package this week.  It really made my day when I received it in the mail!  She sent an awesome re-useable tote with cute little birds on it, a huge salted carmel milk chocolate bar, an AWESOME sticker with the state of Montana and a big blue heart in the middle (I put this on the bumper of my car immediately!), and the prettiest card with my favorite flower, DAFFODILS, on the front!  It was so pretty!  I love my good friends!  Plus, I get to see S in a few weeks because she and her fiance are coming to visit!  Yessssssss!

You can print me, if you want to.
4.  Tofu pasta.  I made my favorite tofu pasta for J and I this past week.  Tofu sounds intimidating and a little freaky for the carnivores out there, but I think I make it pretty good.  The secret is frying it with flavors you love, because the little bean curd squares soak up whatever flavor you want!  Anyway, J actually liked the tofu (and he grew up raising cattle!).  Awwww yeah.

"Red, red wine you make me feel so fine.  You keep me rocking all of the time."  Thanks UB40.
5.  Dreaming Tree Crush Wine.  Dave Matthews created this red wine.  It is so yummy!  I am not a big red wine drinker, but I like this one!  It is a mix of Merlot, Syrah, and Zinfandel.  It is dry, but not too bad.  Plus, the bottle and label are just rad!  It's on sale right now for nearly $2 off the regular price at Party Time Liquor in Spearfish, SD!  Come get some!

Love ya,
Nik
