5 Things To Like This Week . . . All About Mom

Yes.  I know.  The cheeks.

1.   Mother's Day!  I love my Mom!  We had such a good time this past Saturday and we were . . . cleaning!  Ha!  My parents came and helped me clean out and do some repairs on my new place.  It was a hot mess, but we were a good team!  Anyway, check out this POLAROID of me and my Mom!

This makes my morning.

2.  Momma's Breakfast Burritos.  My Mom always brings something yummy that she has made.  This time was no exception!  She brought me some yummy pre-made breakfast burritos!  They were each individually wrapped and in a freezer bag!  I heated one up yesterday (and today) and they are the BOMB!  Whoa!  Good stuff!

OK.  Maybe it wasn't this big . . .

3.  My Mom's fearlessness.  I had a little spider problem in my new place and Mom and I got down to business cleaning everything out.  She made me feel better just by being there and spraying non-toxic spider spray (because of Sophia).  My mom is fearless when it comes to spiders, but when it comes to giant millipedes she had a hilarious freak out!  But in her defense, this millipede was prehistoric in nature.  It was HUGE!

Yup.

4.  Eating crab and chatting--Just Me and My Mom.  After we finished cleaning, my Mom, Dad and I went to Deadwood to feast on crab!  I LOVE CRAB!  My Dad was gambling at his favorite machine and Mom and I were like, "We're outta here!  We came for crab!"  So we hit the buffet and then got some really good chat time in together.  It was perfect!

5.  My mom got me a new stainless steel tea kettle!  My old teapot wouldn't whistle anymore.  It was a bummer.  So, when we were on one of our supply runs, Mom spotted a beautiful petite stainless steel tea kettle and she got it for me!  It whistles and I LOVE IT!!!!!
