1. Baked Potato Soup. I made the best soup this week and it was so easy! I always look for recipes that have a small amount of ingredients and it's even better when they are smaller portioned. I'm a single gal, yo! Anyway, here is the link to the Baked Potato Soup pictured above. Enjoy!
2. Deadwood, SD. Every time I go to Deadwood I have a BLAST! Seriously. This week I met my parents and sister and brother-in-law there. We went out to dinner at a crab buffet and it was soooo amazing. I ate so much crab! Plus, they had boiled craw fish which I just loooove (just don't look 'em in the eyes!) I was introduced to craw fish when I lived in Bozeman, MT. This awesome sushi restaurant called Dave's Sushi had the best craw fish sushi roll! Yum-O!!!!
3. My new homemade mug cozy. OK. I don't know how she knew that I needed one of these, but she did! My good friend D sent me a homemade mug cozy (complete with a pocket for storing my tea bag!). Before I was using a cardboard cozy with packaging tape because it was too small to fit around my clay mug! HA! Love it!
4. Words With Friends. It's scrabble for your computer or, in my case, my Nook. I've been playing against my friend J and I CAN'T EVER WIN! I don't know what the deal is! I've lost to him, like, 5 times! I will win once! I have to!!
5. Beer with a spicy pickle in it. Oh yesssshhhh. How I do love this combo and I can get it at the lovely bar in Spearfish, SD called Horses to Harleys. My buddy plays open mic there on Wednesdays and it is always nice to go down and have one and listen to his band funk it up! Plus, on the weekends when I'm feeling like a beer I just say, "I want a beer with a pickle in it!" and my friends know where I want to go!
