5 Things To Like This Week

1.  Canyon Cream Ale from Crow Peak Brewery in Spearfish, SD.  This stuff is lovely and boasts a high alcohol content (5.0%) . . . (e.g. me+good live music=last Wednesday).  Anyhoo, it's delicious.  It's brewed with local honey and local loooooove.  Come visit me in Spearfish and I'll hook you up!

2.  Peaches are in season right now.  Yup.  I bought some peaches the other day and they were the best!!  Buy some (preferably organic) . . . you won't regret it.



3.  Last night at the liquor store I had a good conversation with a dude.  We were talking about our jobs (he owns his own business) and we came to the mutual conclusion:  "Life is too short.  Do what you love."  It seems so simple and a little idealistic . . . but it's true.  Plus, anytime you are doing something that makes you happy, you can't help but share that happiness with others--in my case, it's through alcohol and books.  I don't make a lot of money, but I can suggest a mighty fine drink or a wonderful book.  Life is good.
