After 11 years in Montana, I've decided to take a job two states East. I'm gonna see what it's like to work at a university library in South Dakota. I am so excited for this move because I get to be an hour away from my family (instead of six), close to Deadwood and Sturgis. Plus, I get to explore a different part of the West and meet new people!
I will miss Montana though. I've met some amazing people and been able to live the Montana experience to the fullest. I've fly-fished, rocked out to local bands, hiked, seen all sorts of wildlife (but NOT BEARS), fallen in love with the mountains, and floated the rivers both on tubes and in a drift boat.
But for now I am rollin' out the bubble wrap, stacking the cardboard boxes, and loading the U-haul. I'm ready for a new chapter in my life to begin. My blog writing might take a backseat for a couple of weeks because I am going to be really busy. I gotta pack up this place, move 8 hours, find a new place to live, and start my new job--all in two weeks! Yikes!
Dude, wanna help me move? Or . . . you can just help me celebrate my last weekend in town!
Mwwwa! Love ya, my Montana friends!
Nik
