Blizzard Warning: The Joy of Life in Montana
So, it's blizzard season in Southwestern Montana right now. In fact, we are under a blizzard warning until 3pm today. I took the entire week off from work, so I am home. I had some errands to run today, but instead I think I will stay inside with some warm tea.
Things to do when there is a blizzard warning:
Bake something.
Drink cider, hot chocolate, coffee, and/or tea.
Skip the gym today.
Eat homemade chili and cornbread.
Read.
Watch movies.
Be thankful that the heat is on . . .
but wonder what would happen if the electricity went off?
Suppose I would just have to light candles and layer up.
Write a blog entry about blizzards.
Watch stuff on Funny or Die. Like this.
Or this . . . my favorite of all time: THE LANDLORD.
Check e-mail and Facebook.
Start Christmas presents.
Plug in car and hope it starts, because it is -14 with the windchill.
YES. I. JUST. SAID. -14 DEGREES. BELOW. ZERO.
Decide NOT to go anywhere today.
Bundle up,
Nik
